I am a special education teacher and teach in a grade 1/2 class for students who have autism in Edmonton, AB. I have used the Olive and the Rhyme Rescue Crew videos as part of my letter of the week lessons for a couple of years now. Two of my students this year LOVE them and can’t wait until Wednesdays when we watch one at circle and write out our letter of the week vocabulary words. One student recently asked if I could get Olive books for the classroom. In my search I came across this site and thought I would send a quick message saying THANK YOU for your help in motivating my students to write. Students with autism can be difficult to motivate to write, so I am always happy when they find a special interest like your Olive character. You have made a huge impact in some important learning.
